Ｖ 以下の文章ＡとＢを読み、各設問に答えなさい。
[A] We- the President of the United States, the President of the National Government of the Republic of China, and the Prime Minister of Great Britain, representing the hundreds of millions of our countrymen, have conferred and agree that Japan shall be given an opportunity to end this war.
…我々、アメリカ合衆国大統領、中華民国政府主席、及び英国首相は、数億のわが同胞を代表し協議の結果、日本国に対し戦争を終結する機会を与えることで一致した。
The terms of the Cairo Declaration shall be carried out and, Japanese sovereignty shall be limited to the islands of Honshu, Hokkaido, Kyushu, Shikoku and such minor islands as we determine.
……カイロ宣言の諸条項は履行されるべきであり、又日本国の主権は本州、北海道、九州及び四国ならびに我々の決定する諸小島に限られなければならない。
We do not intend that the Japanese shall be enslaved as a race or destroyed as a nation, but stern justice shall be meted out to all war criminals, including those who have visited cruelties upon our prisoners. The Japanese Government shall remove all obstacles to the revival and strengthening of democratic tendencies among the Japanese people. Freedom of speech, of religion, and of thought, as well as respect for the fundamental human rights shall be established.
…我々は日本人を民族として奴隷化したり、国家として滅亡させようとするものではないが、日本における捕虜虐待を含む一切の戦争犯罪人は処罰されるべきである。日本政府は日本国国民における民主主義的傾向の復活を強化し、これを妨げるあらゆる障碍は排除するべきであり、言論、宗教及び思想の自由並びに基本的人権の尊重は確立されるべきである。
We call upon the government of Japan to proclaim now the unconditional surrender of all Japanese armed forces, and to provide proper and adequate assurances of their good faith in such action. The alternative for Japan is prompt and utter destruction. 我々は日本政府が全日本軍の即時無条件降伏を宣言し、またその行動について日本政府が誠実かつ十分に保障することを求める。日本に残された選択肢は、迅速且つ完全なる壊滅のみである。
[B] The Security Council,安全保障理事会
Having determined that the armed attack upon the Republic of Korea by forces from North Korea constitutes a breach of the peace,北朝鮮からの武力による韓国への武力攻撃は平和の侵害であると判断し、
Having recommended that Members of the United Nations furnish such assistance to the Republic of Korea as may be necessary to repel the armed attack and to restore international peace and security in the area,国連加盟諸国は、武力攻撃を撃退し、その地域の国際的な平和と安全を回復するために、必要な援助を韓国に提供するよう勧告した。故に、
1. Welcomes the prompt and vigorous support which Governments and peoples of the United Nations have given to its resolutions 82 (1950) and 83 (1950) of 25 and 27 June 1950 to assist the Republic of Korea in defending itself against armed attack and thus and security in the area;1950年6月25日および27日の決議82（1950）および83（1950）に国連の諸政府および諸国民が与えた迅速かつ力強い支援を歓迎し、韓国が自国を武力攻撃から防衛することと、それ故の当該地域の安全保障を支援する。（ここまで）
2. Notes that Members of the United Nations have transmitted to the United Nations offers of
assistance for the Republic of Korea;
3. Recommends that all Members providing military forces and other assistance pursuant to the aforesaid Security Council resolutions make such forces and other assistance available to a unified command under the United States of America;
4. Requests the United States to designate the commander of such forces;
5. Authorizes the unified command at its discretion to use the United Nations flag in the course of operations against North Korean forces concurrently with the flags of the various nations participating;
6. Requests the United States to provide the Security Council with reports as appropriate on the course of action taken under the unified command.
